Monday evening snapshots.
How was your Monday, everyone? I hope it was splendid, or will be if you're across the globe. I resolved a little personal issue in school today, which has lifted some weight off my shoulders. We had to choose a well-known food label for the subject of a pop art project. Can you guess what I chose?
Yep, Nutella. How typical of me.
Whilst lounging around in the library, I dove into my new book. It's Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult, a splendid author whose books I've previously relished. When we walked back to the classroom I had an unexpected chat with my English teacher. She told me that she has a passion for teaching, which made me think twice about how much effort teachers go through for our benefit. A little eye-opener for me, actually. I've gained a lot of respect towards her, knowing that the long hours she puts up with aren't just for the next cheque. Well I'm definitely going to work harder in the future.
