Neverland.

I watched Peter Pan today, the 2003 movie remake. The last time I did, I was still in Sydney. A five-year-old me looked at the screen, enchanted. I loved Peter Pan, and I don't just mean the movie. Jeremy Sumpter, who starred as Peter Pan himself, was my childhood crush. I'd been presented with this idea of a dreamy romance which I so badly craved. I s'pose this is one of the stepping stones to a cheesy, hopeless romantic Rachel.

Watching it again brings back memories. Only now do I realise what a profound effect it had on me. Almost every line can be concluded as a quote. The re-telling of the story caught me breathless, really. If not for the illusive elements of magic, innocent romance and youth, I would never have let the movie touch my heart as much as it does. Wise words sprout from every scene; truth is simply put forward.

I highly suggest that dreamers like me need to watch this. You'll be captivated.

What a lovely day spent, reliving my childhood fantasies.
