Riverside.

How invigorating.

Well, for the majority of the day I lounged around the house. I decided that I should at least get outside by evening. So, my brother brought me out cycling, to a path I had never known.

Despite the complete unawareness of where we were heading, I felt secure being with my brother. With him by my side, I tend to breathe easy. We travelled across roads, up and down hills, through the bushland and finally reached our destination. What lay ahead of me was a wide view of a river, where the highways met and the horizon stretched. The water glistened under the radiant sun. Lots of families had come to fish, those who were expecting a good catch. There was also an encounter with a bee who refused to leave my brother's sleeve. I thought that hey, that little fellow's just like me. Too attached to my brother. I really wonder how I'm going to live without him next year.

The journey was reposeful. Some of you may know this, but getting away from life in general is one of my favourite things to do. I now understand why my brother finds satisfaction in cycling. Being alone with your bike gives you space to think. Through that, you can figure out exactly where you want to go.
