Holding on.

I stayed up last night, after rediscovering my obsession with watching What Would You Do? It's an immensely interesting show, where they film the public's reactions to moral situations. But of course, the people who start the scenes are actors. Though it really does make you think, and can even shock you with the outcome. Tears welled in my eyes as I watched a particular episode where a homeless man was given $20 by a woman for a meal, as she walks him into a bar. The bartender lashes at him, insulting the pride of the homeless man. Of course, they're all actors. Click here to watch it; I highly suggest that you do. Seryna, one of my best blogger friends, featured her thoughts of the show in her latest post. Go have a look!

Anywho, I continued with this series right after I woke up. One video lead to another, and before I knew it I was inspired. An idea had unknowingly sprung into my head, giving me my topic for my English speech. I'm going to talk about homosexual rights. The show had a profound impact on me and I feel the need to channel my feelings and opinions into this speech. I know some people aren't open about homosexuality, but I support it fully. I don't see how homosexuality affects my lifestyle, or any other's for that matter. It's not a problem; it's been simply unheard of until the modern era but that's okay. Equality will win eventually.

Oops, I got a bit carried away. I might mention more of this speech I'm working on in future posts. That's all for now, hope you had a fantastic weekend! x

  2. It's incredible to think that the main difference between the "normal" people and the homeless man is money, people these days are so selfish and if i was at that bar and the barman wouldn't serve the homeless man I would leave because the last thing the homeless need is abuse!xx

    1. That is a sad but true fact. I would've done the same thing! I'm glad that one man threatened to call the cops, and most reacted positively to the situation. Go America :)

  5. Love the outfit!
And I totally agree with you about homosexuality. Seriously people, it's always been there, animals do it, not to mention in ancient times it was so common for men to be married and to have affairs with yonger boys! (not saying that's fair, but you get what I mean), it's just as natural and normal as being "straight".

Finally! I don't think anybody has said it better than you did. It actually it is rather natural, though unheard of. This is why you are such an amazing individual <3
