Sell your soul.

I don't think I mentioned this before, but my brother has attained his licence recently. As a result, he's been taking me out a lot. (Thank you Rodger!) As we venture down roads we hum to tunes by The Neighbourhood. It's so lovely seeing him cheerfully drive around, and to quote his passion for all things motorised, 'You know, I wouldn't mind dying in a car accident. It would mean I died happy, doing what I enjoyed the most.'

Sometimes, I really do admire his straightforward mindset and simplistic morals. He's much more different than me, who's a complicated teenager. I wonder how we're best friends, but I suppose it's mainly 'cause we're related. I used to muse and think of how we're obliged to accept and love our family; though, I'm lucky to have such an incredible brother.

Hope everyone else had a marvellous weekend!

  1. You are indeed very lucky to have a brother like him. I've always been an only child so I never experience such things. Good for you Rachel! x

  9. I have a brother so I can totally relate, we're totes opposites, but just love each others to pieces with our diversities too. And though I would most certainly mind dying in a car accident, I do understand the passion for motors, the empowerment, the adrenaline, the independence...
Oh, and love the outfit ;)

  14. Haha, me and my sister are the same way. I am a lot more simple and enjoy minimalism. She is everything at once. I need to get my learner's permit this summer or I won't be able to drive to school and get my license. Your sweater is really cute! :)
