Weeds are flowers too.

My favourite quote from A.A Milne.

Thank goodness it's Friday! Quite frankly, it always feels like eternity before the weekend rolls around. I did something unexpected after getting home today; I spring-cleaned (or should I say winter-cleaned). Not only did I do that, but I did that for 2 hours straight. Rearranging, organising, tidying up and throwing things out. The great shock that comes to most people is that I actually enjoy cleaning up, well, my room specifically.

Now, majority of teenagers would rather poke their eyes out than tend to their messy room. However, I'm part of that minority that appreciates righteous order. (Hello Rachel's inner introvert.) After I throw out some clothes, or make my items more accessible, I feel accomplished. The aspect of having physical things under control feels like I truly am taking ahold of my own life. Funny how I see so deeply into such things, huh?

Anywho, last night I had to clamber off my bunk bed at 12.30am. I had one of those nights where I couldn't do anything but think. Pushing my stubborn mood aside, I jotted down all my thoughts. Most of them were things I had forgotten about in the midst of my hectic school life, so I'm glad I remembered. Some of the things refer to scheduling appointments, making an effort with appearance, shopping online for birthday presents (thanks Keeley), watching certain movies and having more quality posts up on this blog.

Also, I was thinking of making a post/video soon about organisation tips. Let me know what you think. That's all for now, ciao.

  3. I specifically at night get into moods where all i want to do is clean and tidy and be productive. Shame that my productive-ness sometimes includes wanting to do important things that require other people... however they are sleeping...

    1. It's by that man who created Winnie the Pooh, I think you should check him out. He has rather sweet quotes. Trust me, I could appear on any reality TV show as an obsessive hoarder. I'm just glad I cleaned this time!
And yep, all of them really do. I think beds are the most productive spots.
