Style Profile: Collab with Tara // Fashionbambini.

  Howdy everyone! As I have said in a previous post, I've been interested in collaborating with bloggers alike. Fortunately, Tara AKA Fashionbambini kindly volunteered! As a result we've figured out that a style collaboration with mutual posts is the way to go; after all, two heads are better than one. If you don't know her, I insist you check her out. There are so many things that make her impeccable: she's a fellow Aussie, a good friend of mine and an incredibly talented Youtuber with an urban vintage (not to mention unique) style. Not to mention, her music taste is superb. Her videos are too innovative for words, and I really do enjoy her chirpy presence on both the blogosphere and Youtube community. I know you'll adore her as much as I do, she definitely needs more recognition - without further ado, let's jump right into it!

How did you get into fashion?

I've always been into fashion as a kid. I don't know, I guess I've just been born loving it, if that makes sense? My cousin has always been pretty fashionable- maybe she influenced me, seeing as I spent a lot of my childhood around her. I remember, I was a massive girly girl! I never wore pants as a kid, always dresses. Times have changed haha. 

Describe your personal style.

I'd say funky and weird. I never have the same 'type' of style of clothes. One day I'll go from wearing dresses and frilly socks to jeans and an old t-shirt. I don't even know what my style is. I guess I'm still discovering it.

Do you have any personal beliefs about fashion/style?

Dress how you want and not what society does/n't want you to.

Name one fashion faux pas of yours.

Ahhhhh, this is hard! Probably walking around in a matching hot pink tracksuit when I was younger. I'm not kidding. I thought I was the trendiest chick on the block.. 

What is your go-to item?

Ohhh I have so many! I guess I'll list them- black jeans, fluffy white jacket, plain white t-shirt, black cardigan, denim jacket and my Camel cigarette shirt/oversized t-shirts.

Who do you think influenced your style the most, and why?

I'd say there isn't any one specific person. I think just anything influences my style. What I see in magazines, online (Youtube, blogs), the people around me, TV, basically anything. I find a lot of inspiration in these things... I guess without them, I probably would not have the 'style' I have now. 

What is your favourite outfit at the moment?

Probably my Mum Jeans, black 90's shirt (my mum's), plaid sweater and creepers. I've basically had to force myself to stop wearing the exact same outfit everyday since I 'created' it. 

Why is fashion such a huge part of your life?

I know clothes shouldn't define who you are as a person, but I just have this part of me that believes it completes you. That could just be me... Also, as much as I hate to say it, but people do judge you on what you wear. Fashion is a hobby for me. I make videos on Youtube and blog about fashion! It's great and I love it because it comes in so many different ways.

What is the number one store/brand which portrays your style?

Ahh, why did I come up with such a hard question?! Dammit. Um... If Wasteland, Urban Outfitters, Windsor Smith, Tree of Life, Asos, Mink Pink and Cobra Snake all had a baby.. that would be it.

What is a trend you love, hate and wish would come back?

At the moment, I'm loving holographic, plaid, stripes, tie-dye and overalls! Still need to get that plaid skirt... Honestly, I can't think of any hates! And a trend I want to come back is probably galaxy printed things.
