Time flies.

Wow there! Would you look at that, it's already February 2013.

It's almost been two months of school holidays overseas. Thinking back on how I spent these past 7-8 weeks, I just feel really relieved and happy. I've finally spent an end-of-the-year break productively. Old friends have secured me with a sense of familiarity. Tight bonds, still strong after years of physical distance. It just warms my heart to have such great friends; been real fun catching up with them.

As they say, 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder.'

Months ago, I dreaded the planned trips that I had to go along with. Little did I know, travelling did me some good - well, despite the process of nausea. Staying with my Dad in Singapore has kept me appreciative of convenient eateries, wide culture and the city. Having visited China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia, I've been exposed to a great deal. I can proudly say that I've visited five countries in the past 2 months.

Though, all this travelling isn't for me. I thought of how my Mum had to experience this daily for 11 years, as a stewardess. Then I figured, I'm just not cut out for this kind of adventurous stuff.

But no worry, I'll find my place. Perhaps in a few months, years or maybe even decades. In the meantime, I can only wait out a 24-hour period before I fly back to Australia. Too enthusiastic to function.
