Well, this Friday concludes the first week of school. I still haven't quite warmed up to the feeling of being in Year 9 yet. I'll give it time. Nothing has really changed, but it inevitably will in the course of a few weeks. Whatever's to come will certainly be interesting.
Anywho, there's quite a pile of homework to complete over the weekend. I've rewritten two paragraphs ending a short story were given in English class. On my plate, I still have math homework, a science worksheet and S&E task. Let's hope I'll have my head in the game over the weekend.
Speaking of the weekend, it's finally here! Five days of school have never felt so slow. Like wow. Classes haven't been as exciting as I had envisioned. One of the highlights would be getting to know the new kids. I've met two, one in my art class, and the other in sport. Both are really pleasant on the occasions I've struck up conversations with them. The first caught my attention with the Dr. Martens she had on! They look splendid on her. Instantly knew she would be a tasteful person. I've yet to found out, but I'm sure. Hopefully someone who holds similar interests to me.
Especially excited for tomorrow with Melissa! Haven't seen that lovely girl in months; we have too much to catch up on.
