Do I wanna know?

Thank you AM for the gracious song title that goes hand in hand with my thoughts.

Phew. The holidays are gone - it seems that somehow, two weeks had flown by in a hectic blur. I've used the time fairly well but am still unwilling to return to school. In fact, I am dreading going back to that horrendous place where long hours will be spent torturing my freedom and creativity. (A bit over the top, but I'm not the only one who dislikes school.) I was meant to start today, though due to reasons (which shall not be named) I had to take the day off.

Anywho, another reason I very much would rather stay at home is the fact that I am having a mild existential crisis. I think I'm in the process of losing friendships and there's not much I can do to save them. It's such a shame because it's the universe cycle of people arriving, making their mark and forsaking. There are also people I do not want to see, and things I do not want to do. Everything's a pile of mess that I either need to clean up or tend to. I'm at a point where I'm basically achieving nothing in my life nor am I driven to do so. And as I sit here and type, I feel comfortable with my inner child emerging to whine about reality. Thank goodness for the acceptance of personal blogging.

Now, how are you feeling about school?

  1. I can't tell you how I feel about school now, cause, well I am not in school anymore. But I totally can understand the way you feel about going back to School. Always felt the same haha.

And I also know what's it like when you loose friendships. Just after my graduation I was also in the process of losing friendships. It's a really sad thing & I tried so much to save them, but in the end it often is just better like that. Life doesn't stop. When do you finish by the way with school?

    1. Great to know I'm not alone, so thank you. I'll try and be as realistic as possible about the situation.
Do you mean finish entirely or just the school year? In any case, my year ends mid-December and I'll be graduating in 2016.

  2. Aw, I kind of know how you feel. I have University from 8:30 AM til 6:30 PM and let me tell you, it is a very long day to be sitting in one building. And it doesn't help that I am quite the wallflower, so of course, I don't converse with a lot of people around me. It kind of makes my day a little bit more lonelier than I would have liked. But hey, life does go on, and soon enough it'll all be over.

I really do hope things start looking up for you sooner or later, just remember, sometimes friends aren't forever, but it doesn't mean you won't make any new ones anytime soon!
