Next year.

By the time you're reading this post, I may be well on my way to Singapore. So before sleepily heading onto my flight, I thought to present you with another brief post - probably the last one for 2013, in fact. I'm bringing you guys a tune coincidentally perfect for the occasion, to welcome yet another brand new year. (Yep, when was the last time I pulled out a Two Door Cinema Club song? Don't worry, I still adore them.) 2013 has been rather good to me though, especially the later half of it. Overall it's been a tremendous blur of bittersweet happenings. I've had the chance to meet new individuals and have a taste of new experiences. Now that's what something I wouldn't ever want to trade, for anything in the world.

You see, I'm hopeful for 2014; possibly a year where change will play more of a positive role for me. I've dealt with change time and time again, without fail, and I'd like to see things turning out in my favour. Now I know that happiness doesn't come easy; I'm not going to chase it down, but I'll find it wherever I may be. I'll further learn how to savour every moment possible, whilst seeing the light of the situation.  I'm looking forward to maintaining close ties and embracing even more. I'd also like to mention that I'm especially indebted to all my readers here on this blog, all of your lovely support has filled me with such mirth. So thank you, for even being here. It means more than you can imagine.

Here's wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Let's make 2014 a good one, for both you and I. See you in 2014, folks!

  3. Have a WONDERFUL time!

I'm also optimistic for the year - in years past (my school years mostly) I was very negative about it and would think "this year will be just as crappy as the last" - it's crazy how much I've changed since high school.

Just remember, happiness is a mood and state of being, not a destination. It comes and goes and it's not something you can find, it's something you can be. It's fleeting but we have to appreciate those times when we are happy and hopefully it'll come around more often.

Wishing you all the best for 2014.
