Clouds and cream.

I am home and I couldn't be any better. It's been less than 24 hours, but the outset of welcoming warmth has embraced me (both figuratively and literally). Today was the first day back to school for me, which went incredibly well. There were moments that rendered me speechless, because lots of friends had greeted me with such enthusiasm. Do you know what it's like to have people shout your name from multiple directions as they run up to hug you? It's a marvellous feeling, I can tell you that. I mean gosh, I feel lovedEven though it was only a three day absence, I hadn't seen everyone for roughly 5-8 weeks so this much anticipated reunion was the highlight of the day. (I'm so bloody fortunate to have people who remind me that they actually like me, for well, me. That is enough of a reason to be happy.) As for the workload and subject introductions, there were kind enough teachers to assist me without feeling hassled. I managed to organise my errands/classes in a prompt fashion too, so that's a relief.

I'll admit, despite the lengthy stay in Singapore I really did have a heap of fun there. I spent New Years' eve there, shopped loads, had a lunch date with Yuxian, met up with Trudy at a lovely corner cafe. dined with Benita, retreated to Haji Lane (twice!), saw Phoenix live whilst attending my first concert ever, caught up with Mohamad, visited Gardens By The Bay, had a scrumptious breakfast at dinnertime with old friends, stuck around for Chinese New Year, saw a couple of old but gold friends once again and did even more, too.

See, now that was only chapter one of 2014. Now I'm hopping right into the next, but not without appreciating every occasion that strove me on along the way. I have an infinite number of plans and people to catch up with. I honestly think life right now is fantastic; it's all about taking the initiative to make it what you want it to be, really. I'd hate to sound like I'm boasting but I'm just radiating positive energy. I am excited for great things to come. And you should be too, you are destined for great things. We all are.

Oh look at me, I'm babbling on again. So, how exactly have you been? x

    1. Really? I'll sure hope so - I haven't exactly found any interest in my core classes so far. And nah, senior school has better things in store for you. :) It always gets better, and thanks!

  3. Whoa. I'm surprised yet happy that you're still motivated about 2014.
My dreams and motivations are now gone. I no longer challenge myself nor have any resolutions to "better" myself. Lol all of those positive energy faded away. I'm back to my ehhh neutral self lol
It's good to see you back and everyone warmly greeted you with such friendliness ^^

    1. So am I, I thought I would've tired out by now! And that's a shame, I don't have solid resolutions either but I like to try and maintain a healthy mindset. As long as you're happy it's all good. :) Thanks Yona!
