Weekend.

'On the weekend, you'll find your way and lose it again.' - Last Dinosaurs

Friday - My friend held a gathering at her place in order to commemorate the passing of summer. I'd like to think we took advantage of the current weather as well. The night was so much better than we had anticipated it to be. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to party with, especially since I was able to spend the few hours with some of my favourites. Definitely lots of funny and spontaneous antics to make for another memorable night.

Saturday - Autumn is here! Well, if you live in the Western states you would know that the seasons are rather delayed. Ironically it seems just like spring. Temperatures have still been soaring, yet with contrastingly cool evenings. 
Sunday - Julia came over for a study date, though I mainly ended up slacking off. We chilled whilst listening to Last Dinosaurs, Bombay Bicycle Club, Passion Pit, Bag Raiders and Empire of the Sun. Sunset was in full swing when we decided to head out for a walk. Thereon, more in-depth conversation continued as we sat surrounded by nature. (pictured as above) I do think it was a necessary catch-up session, and I'm glad to have had her by my side today.

  Anyway, bottom line is: February has never before been so jam-packed with the felicity of friends. The month has been dear to me, and for that, I am insanely elated. Heck, the whole summer has been a downright dream. I just can't contain how happy I have been, guys!

  Luckily, tomorrow would be a public holiday, resulting in a day off school. I deem it as the cherry on top of a fantastic February. Oh, bless the long weekend.
