School has already started, and I'm trying to get well back into the swing of things. (Another term, phew. I wonder how I'll cope.) It's been great to see all the familiar faces throughout the day, as well as a few new ones. The upside is that I am encircled by countless good people, who know how to have fun and also have their priorities in order - I need not worry, their influence is beneficial. That should strive me on for the next few weeks. I've missed out on quite a bit of work, that I've yet to catch up on. The pressure is piling on but I still remain in my dazed form. I find myself daydreaming in class. I've still been having my share of fun, whilst slacking off a little. I know I really need to start taking school more seriously, so I'll be trying. And as my major examinations draw near, I realise that I should really step up my game. I've made a vow to increase the effort, as well as prove to myself that I am capable of so much more. If I put my heart and mind into it, I'll achieve satisfactory results.
Completely irrelevant but, I also had my braces fixed on today. I'm conflicted about them, on whether I like how they look on me or not. Thankfully they aren't as painful as others have had it, nor am I afraid to smile/laugh freely. The cleaning process is a tad tedious, though it's just a matter of dealing with it, I suppose. I didn't exactly dread getting them on anyway, because the offered aesthetic at the end is worth it. (Also, the photos above are courtesy of my latest flight.)
Fingers crossed; here's to self-determination and brighter days. But for now, it's back to good old reality. I'll be busy, busy, busy for the next few weeks. Do let me know how all of you are getting on! (Write as much as you want in the comments, I'd be elated to hear.)

I totally feel you, I just went back to school and it's a slap in the face of reality in contrast to the fun of taking time off. I need to step up my game too, exams are drawing closer and closer.

University is crazy for me at the moment, so I definitely know how you feel in terms of schooling. It's so hard to keep up with everything such as social life, blogging and an abundance of assignments. It's crazy, but I hope for the best, and I hope that you'll come through with it soon enough!
