We were finally able to let loose today. A few weeks' worth of meticulous planning all boiled down to this one evening: the surprise going-away party meant for Aarushi. Pearl and I had been trying to keep the party on a low-down to avoid her finding out. (Have you ever planned a surprise party? It's sneaky business.) Fortunately, things ran smoothly and we were able to enjoy a humble evening outside with a couple of friends. Pearl's backyard offered a lovely, subtle sunset that set a relaxing mood. Endless chatter arose as the night consumed us all. The end result was satisfactory.
Anyway, I've been well. These few weeks have been average - filled to the brim with work, may I add - but the heat's settled and we're down to the last few weeks of the school year. I've been participating in many plans as of late, which have kept me nicely occupied. I can't wait to see what else is in store for me.

ReplyDeleteOoohh, surprise parties are so weird to me (I'm probably weird though) but fun at the same time. I always like to prepare for things :p It does sound you guys had a wonderful time, the sunset is neat. And so is your dress(/playsuit?)
