I lounged around aimlessly with Aarushi today, watching Warm Bodies yet again and feasting on good food. (Tacos, pasta and fruit because her parents are gourmet chefs!) It was nice to catch up with her, she's the kind of relatable/non-judgemental friend whom I can go to for anything. Ever since we started talking in drama and PE, our friendship has been effortless ever since. Seriously, she's one of the best things to happen to me this year.
Anyway, I made last-minute plans to attend my school's dance concert this evening. I managed to snag front row seats with her and a few others. I was really amazed with how well the dancers in my grade performed, till the point where I felt stripped of any talent whatsoever. Hence the quote below, haha. It was immensely inspiring though, and I feel the need to make myself worthy somehow, of something. So, what talent do you possess?

Those are some lovely portraits! And I love Last Dinosaurs, their "Weekend" song is to die for! Ahhh I don't possess any talents, sadly. :(
ReplyDeleteOh gosh if my parents were chefs I would probably be packing on the pounds. What type of dancing do you do? and I know how you feel, I'm constantly jealous (which is such an ugly trait) of talented people, especially when they're younger than me. x
ReplyDeleteYou make her sound so sweet ♥ and glad you have fun. I love watching dancers omg. It's almost unhealthy how many youtube videos I watch, ball room dancing is my fav :P
ReplyDeleteI have the dance concert tonight and I'm so freaked out because our group is unprepared *grits teeth*
ReplyDeleteSounds you guys had a really nice day... the kind of day that keeps your spirits alive. She sounds cool. And I always feel like such a stupid noob when I see people doing things with their 'all', developing their full potential while I'm just watching in awe. :p

Okay, I really love your hair! I always wanted to have that long & beautiful hair but well, my hair is crap although it's not longer. :(
ReplyDeleteAnyway, nope the photos in my blogpost about the Botanical Garden are not taken with the 50mm 1.8. All taken with my 75-300mm zoom lens. I am so happy to finally having now the 50mm 1.8! I am so in love with that lens & just can recommend everyone to buy it haha! I hope to go soon again to the Botanical Gardens (such a lovely place here) & take photos there with that lens! :)
