Lotus flower bomb.

Getting lost in the dense labyrinth of flora, Benita and I finally got the proper chance to amble around Gardens By The Bay. For those who frequent my blog, you'll know that Benita has been a part of many of my outings for this holiday trip in Singapore. I haven't properly introduced her; she's been my friend since I was 7 - so that's around 8 years and we still keep in touch. She's been generous enough to fit me into her schedule for the fourth time this month, in spite of her busy schedule. Oh, what would I do without her? (Well, rotting indoors is the probability.) You can also find her on Instagram here.
I've been dreaming about this day for ages. The entire composition of the refined gardens was incredible, larger than life, in fact. I'm impressed. Definitely plenty of sights including pristine plants, pretty flowers, adorable accents and a magnificent waterfall. (These photos merely cover the Cloud Forest conservatory - I'll have another post up sometime showcasing the gorgeous flower displays in the Flower Dome.) I had a fantastic time being surrounded by such stunning greenery, with the company of a cherished childhood friend. The prospect of a sneaky glimpse into the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival was much too appealing to pass up, so we also satisfied our curiosity there. Indeed a great day, it was.
