It seems that the world has been rotating at a slower pace - well, for me at least. Things have been less hectic nowadays, in spite of the fact that I am almost always found in a crowded location. Today was no exception. Whilst waiting to meet up with my close friend Mohamad, I settled myself near the exit of the train station. I had lost myself in the setting of the scene not long after. I began to study certain individuals. Were they waiting just like me? Where did they have to go? What were the plans for the day? Or even the future? Carried away; ah, the state I seem to be in naturally.
Nonetheless I kept a vigilant lookout, and soon I was able to join Mohamad for a few hours to catch up. We got carried away with the usual bout of meaningful conversation, this time as we paraded around Orchard. (Yep, I know I'm there a lot.) Our time was up after a long while but we'd managed to grab some food/drinks too. We bid each other a casual goodbye, since we'd see each other soon anyway. Though let me say, it's been a pretty cool opportunity to spend quality time with acquaintances/friends - especially Mohamad, my brother from another mother - in another country.Oh, and I also went plant shopping with my Mum. Before I proceed, there are two things you must know. 1) Plant shopping is such a serene way to past the time. 2) I cannot get enough of IKEA. Is it just me, or is IKEA practically heaven? (Wait, that's a rhetorical question. Of course it's IKEA - well, because it's IKEA. I needn't say more.)
Here are some pictures for your ultimate viewing pleasure, because who doesn't love plants? Also I know what you're thinking; Wow there's quite a handful from Rachel's question bank today. So I shall end this post now; I need my rest. Ciao. x

I do what you done too. I always study other people and wonder what their day was like. Whether they have a family. What they do for a living. Strange, I know, but it's so interesting to know that I am so invested in myself (obviously because I live my life) that I forget others have their own. So amazing.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely pictures!
