Summer is wrapping up soon, so I thought to devote a post to this gratifying tune (which I discovered through Claire Marshall's phenomenal OOTD video). It has practically been the soundtrack to my summer, on par with my praise of Kowalski in a previous post. It evokes memories of rides in my brother's convertible, on a cliff alongside the beautiful beach. Not to mention, new friendships formed and countless trips to the beach - definitely set myself a personal record this summer. The waves aren't always welcoming, considering that they swallow me whole, but I always end up having a good time even when I'm tumbling in the currents. (Not pretty.) Yep, it's safe to say this song carries such sentimentality.

What a nice song to hear! I can't wait for summer, going to the beach and enjoy the sun. Love that!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me hate the flood weather we're having even more. Grrr wishing we actually have a decent summer in England this year and I hope you had a really good one, it definitely sounds like it! Love the song too, definitely makes me miss summer.
