  As Yuxian put it, our Monday chiefly involved a 'food excursion into the expensive'. I think she summed it up concisely. All of us were victims to the relentless rain and near-cyclone winds, but we pulled through. A gluttonous hunt for good food had ensued; there was no way we'd let the torrential weather discourage us. We slid in and out of little boutiques to shield ourselves. We decided enough was enough, and between intervals we ate. Our share of food was undeniably rich in flavour - with everything from frothy milkshakes and churros, to Mexican platters and classic pizza. (Woooooooo guilt!)

Certain people lost their churro virginity today. // Yuxian just being ridiculously photogenic with food (another example here).

What you're about to witness are the Mexican platters that, sadly, burnt holes in our wallets. At least the decor was a feast.
